The Wokalup
Three of us stopped off here for lunch on the way back up to Perth.This unassuming pub fronts a deceptively stunning micro brewery out the back, with a fenced grassy open space for doggy visitors, a play area for little people, and a relaxing rural view.My traveling companions and I are normally articulate people, but the only words that we could manage to find for our meals were “OMG” (repeatedly), “Wow” and “Amazing”.The service was excellent, efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Down the Road
Had my birthday lunch there with 11 family members. The food is really well priced and the serves generous. Everyone was impressed and happy with their meals.The staff are amazing and went out of their way to ensign ensure we were looked after and happy.Venue is smallish, but also clean and comfortable.A good day was had by all.

Seemed like there was limited seating options but guessing this is largely due to covid restrictions.Mainly a sports bar, TV's on every wall.I was very pleasantly surprised with the food, lamb shank was a bit fatty but cooked well and risotto was tasty too.Pork ribs were a bit grisly but decent flavour and portion with chips.

Albion Hotel
The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The rooms are spotless and spacious with clean towels and rooms cleaned daily. Tea, coffee and sugar replenished also daily. The bistro/restaurant is family friendly and the food was good with specials every night. The whole site is spotlessly clean inside and out and that is very important to us. There are camera's everywhere and gates that are locked in the the evening which is great for security reasons. We visited Kal again after 35 years and stayed for 5 nights spending the time roaming around Boulder & Kalgoorlie's tourist sights and thoroughly enjoyed our time and it was nice to go back to the Albion Shamrock Hotel at the end of the day and relax in a comfortable environment.Thanks to all the staff.

Good service, great selection of drinks, including Hahn 3.5 on tap. Got a bit of surprise with pineapple in the burger. Good venue.
